Tender Moments

I do apologize for waiting so long in between this post and the last. The truth is that we are doing the best we can to make mom comfortable and it seems to be getting harder and harder to do that. She is very weak and mostly confused now. We do see glimpses of the strong and couragous mother that we know, but those moments are becoming few and far between.

We had a tender moment with mom and the four of us kids yesterday. We were all together for a few hours after Jenn arrived again and before Becky went home for some rest. We know she loves us and we love her so much. Thank you for your continued prayers of comfort and peace. They are working!

  1. Hey Val and everyone! So I heard a good idea in class today from this girl who works for build-a-bear. So maybe if Aunt Jill and you guys want to do this you could? A lady who had cancer came and recorded her voice saying "I love you" and/or other things and there's a way they can put what they record inside the bear, so when her little kids hugged the bear they could hear her voice. Well, just a thought! praying for Aunt JIll and all of you!
    love,

  3. Dear Joan, Bryan,and Family,
How much we appreciate you guys taking the time to keep us up-to-date on our beloved Jill. You don't ever need to apologize for time lapsed. Right now you are putting your time where it is best spent. From a family member who has stood by a bedside waiting, this is the hardest time. How blessed you are to have each other and the gospel. That hope the doctor spoke of gives us hope not only for comfort now, but for a glorious future together with those we love. Our heart-felt thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Kathy and Bernice
